| I have hardly come to Xanga lately, perhaps the lack of interesting information or a lack of time. First of all, what I was so excited to write about was how awesome RENT was last night! There is nothing like live music and professonal performers. There was so much energy on the stage and in the audience. The broadway shows I have seen keep getting better. When they sang "Will I Loose My Dignity" I had goosebumps. Everysong was just awesome...ten times better than just listening to the soundtrack or watching the movie. Even the parts I don't like in the movie were awesome...like Angel dancing ina the Santa outfit..I'm not really into that, but in person it was amazing to see a man jump on and off a table in 4 inch heals. I know I couldn't do that. Enough about that though.... Tyler and I bought a house. It is not officially ours yet and buying this house is probably one of the most stressful things that I have been through, but I am sure it will be worth it. The seller thinks we are trying to screw them over, we think we are helping them out and wse also feel like our loan officer is screwing us over. What a learning experience. When you guys are ready to buy a house, just call me and I will give you lots of advice...lol!!! I have a lot of homework this week and Ava is sleeping right now so I should get on that. I hate group homework especially when we are all living in different cities and I made the mistake of saying I'd put everything together. Stupid me! Not to mention that one of my group members is on her honeymoon and didn't send me her part of the assignment before she left and I still don't have it. Monday is in two days!!! Yikes! I better get going! Have a great day! | | |
| Here's to you Amanada and Jonathan! I'm bringing Xanga back in my life! I have been really busy lately and just haven't thought much about coming to update when it seems like no on really cares what you write anyways because maybe they already know. Here are some exciting new things in my life........ 1) My sister had a baby girl all naturally....way to go sis! Her name is Kiera Grace and I have seen her. She is beautiful and has a lot of really pretty reddish brown hair. She will have Ava's hand-me downs for the rest of her life. Sorry little girl. 2) I started my own Pampered Chef business, so I am excited about that! Learning this new trade has consumed a lot of my time. I am going to have a grand opening show at my church next Thursday night. Please come and please have a show for me!! We will have lots of fun and good food! 3) Ava is growing like a weed. She is a little over 6 months and she is still in the 95% for her size. She is siitting up by herself and doing other crazy things including screaming in a very high pitch when she is excited. 4) School is going well. I am learning a lot and I have really great classmates. We all get along well. The crazy thing is that everyone wants to talk and tell their opinion when the professor asks a question. It seemed like at Midland I was the only one to ever answer. It is quite different. 5) Now that I have Ava I don't mention Tyler as much. But he is still doing well being our sugar daddy and giving us a lot of love! I think that is all. Have a great day! | | |
| "Momnesia" It has been confirmed that the memory problems I am suffering has a name, "momnesia." It was on the Today show...so it has to be true, right? lol...I love the little interesting stories on that show. Anyways, they say it all has to do with your hormones doing crazy things after you have a baby and while you are breastfeeding. This one lady said you are in the car on your way to the store and you forget why you are going. Yes...I can totally relate to that...I've done that a few times. I know I have to make lists all the time, or I seriously will forget. So, it is called momnesia and I am so glad it is not just something I am making up! My sister will probably have her baby any day/hour now. I am pretty excited! Hopefully she will have the baby before Sunday so we can go see them. This is my first niece or nephew in my immediate family. Hopefully he/she will be good friends with Ava. I am sick with another head cold. Hopefully it will go away soon. My nose is just running so it is not that bad besides my nose burning. Eventhough I was not feeling well, we spent Tyler's day off getting approved for a home loan and looking at houses. I tired to make the most out of it, but I felt horrible. So far, there is one we really like. We are still looking and it is pretty fun! Well, that is about all I know. I hope you are all doing well. Stay fierce! ;)....(yes I said fierce and you wouldn't understand unless you've been watching Project Runway like me!) : D | | |
| Well, I did finish my homework..mostly :P Our main professor was gone this week and so we had a sub. She was pretty awesome and we all liked her a lot. It made me feel horrible when I found out that she would've been my professor if I would've started in October like originally planned. Lets just say this whole thing probably would've been a little more laid back. I don't know if I told you all this, but you have the same professor for all twelve months. So, it is important to like that person I'd say. The professor we have will be good too, just a little more intense I think. I do like my class mates and last night I realized I am quite a bit younger than most of them. Some of them have been around the block and back again :P I found out I am one of like 5 girls who stopped going to school because of becoming pregnant. Although, I am probably the only one who was married when that happened. Anyways it is a very interesting blend of people. I thought I was finally getting over this cold until I went to bed last night. As soon as I get up I feel like a different person. I can talk now, I just sound funny. I think I sound like my sister! I just home Ava doesn't get sick. However, breast milk is a great defense for babies getting sick. Reason #1 or 2 to breastfeed....a HEALTHY BABY!! So, when you are all ready to make/have babies..let me tell you all about it :D Today is my one day off of homework I decided. Although I might try to get a head start on a paper or something. This week I have only 3 chapters, but like 3 or 4 papers. Okay..so in ending I love this song on the link...check it out! http://youtube.com/watch?v=ktUSIJEiOug&feature=related Here is one of my favorite pics from our vacation!

| What a week!! It was a great vacation, but I hate all the work when you get home. I started my 6 loads of laundry yesterday, but I still have a few to do today. Plus the dishes and just cleaning up our house so I don't have to be stressed! The flights there were all good and went pretty fast. Ava really didn't have problems with the take off or landing. Just when she got bored or tired, then she has a fit like always. It was so beautiful in North Carolina. The coldest it ever was was 50 some degrees. It was great. The ocean was pretty good although it was cold. I did put my feet in the water and it was like an ice block. We also fed the seagulls and they catch things in their mouths like dogs but in the air. It was quite funny! But kind of scary after then stalk you because they think you have food. They all started flying at me! Not cool! On the way home we got stuck in the Chicago airport because of bad weather. Our flight got cancelled so we got put on the waiting list for the next flight. Didn't get on, so we waited for the next one and six hours later we get on the plane to Omaha. Thankfully Ava slept the whole way and it was our only plane with tvs and we got to watch the office. That was great! So, we were up at 4:45 our time and got home at about 11 p.m. What a long day. I don't wish to really ever go back to the Chicago airport. The employees there are really not nice. Surprisingly the nicest people we had were in DC. I started my degree program last night and I am a little overwhelmed. I am the youngest there I am sure, but almost everyone was in there twenties/early thirties. There will be alot of homework like five chapters to read and 4 assignments by next Monday. It is going to be tough, but it will be okay. I will be done in 15 months. I am kind of scared because I think I am the only one not working and probably have the least amount of work experience. Oh well, it will be okay. I will learn a lot! I think everyone in the class is going to get a long great. I have the same teacher for every class for a year and I also like her. She is pretty young, but has a lot of experience. I am excited though...my brain needs some stimulation!! Well, I need to take care of my daughter! I hope you have a great day! | | |
